This is the personal testimony of Marty and Danielle about the healing of Alexis!
Alexis
We met Alexis when a Stairway Division partner invited us to pray for the healing of her co-worker’s daughter.
At only 21, Alexis was diagnosed with two lumps and a grapefruit-sized tumor in her body. Needless to say she was scared and confused. So a few weeks before Christmas, Marty and I joined our mutual friends, Jerry and Lynda, at Alexis’s home to pray for her healing.
Before we prayed, we had the privilege to teach her a little bit about Jesus and a little bit about healing from the Bible. Then we prayed for her healing— in Jesus’ name!
The following week the doctor biopsied the two lumps. And the long wait for the results began…
Finally, the results were in. To the glory of God, the biopsy samples were non-cancerous, and the grapefruit-sized tumor had shrunk so significantly that the doctor decided not to biopsy or remove it. Alexis had been healed!
By late January 2016, Alexis wanted to know more about Jesus and growing as a Christian; so we had the privilege of teaching her (along with some of her friends and family) one of our Stairway Division classes, Beginnings: The Fundamentals of Learning To Walk With God And Developing A Biblical Worldview.
In June of 2016 Alexis chose to be water-baptized as an outward sign of her inner profession of faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
